EMOS, ISC, + EBB

Inspired by primitive implant prototypes (first introduced by Correctional Industries of America, Three Square Market, and Google offshoots during the late 2010's), this now highly evolved, refined EMOS (Embedded Microchip-based Operating System) revolutionized digital commerce, transnational gaming, transpatial cultural VR apps, and communications technology in general.  After Net Neutrality laws were once again gutted in the early 2020’s by a one-term president from the Freegan Party (a splintering libertarian third party of former Reaganites, free market cheerleaders, weedpreneurs, and Bernie Bros, all of who wanted to "dumpster dive into the bloated federal bureaucracy"), the wealthiest global consumers automatically had the fastest processors (but this time they were inside their bodies, not their feather-light laptops of the 2020's), which meant they accessed information and purchased knowledge faster, their retinal enhancements gave them distinct advantages in anything from face scanning and instantaneous background checks to retinal screen shots, virtual menus, first-person GPS apps, satellite communication technology, virtual conferences calls, graphic resolution upgrades in all human enhancement apps, smart VR processing, simultranslations, international virtual athletic leagues, crime predictor apps, and the de-coding of non-verbal signals in cross-cultural urban spaces, for example, all of which gave wealthy Firsters clear class advantages not just in their daily lives, but also in their professional and global rankings.

An ISC on the other hand, (Implanted Smart Chip, currently in Generation K) is used in conjunction with EMOS for virtually every human activity from purchasing food at virtual delis and global food courts, checking into transnational appointments, swiping fare at hi-speed subways and spaceports, requesting blood and urine analysis, ordering biologics and news injections, renting virtual books at the ISC Library, turning on green-energy appliances, locking houses, and requesting pick-up from your self-driving car, donating money to friends (or registered vagrants), playing digital music, VR movies, and PS7 virtual games, all of which work in conjunction with EEB (Embedded Ear Buds), which are powerful speakers embedded into the ear canal the size of rice kernels made of indestructible titanium.  They are replaced painlessly once every 10-20 years during routine in-person medical and software checkups for users of all hearing types.
