Even though I was married and hadn't seen you in forever, I should have gone to London with you anyway.  If I'd known we wouldn't see each other for years, I would have, but I was still hurt that you'd never visited me in Chicago, and I'd hated the east coast so much when you started your joint degree program, which was the only reason why I'd agreed to visit you in LA the following summer.
